Brief:
To anchor the global launch of the MacDon M1240 Windrower, I was commissioned to produce a flagship "hero" teaser and a comprehensive suite of supporting product assets. The creative vision demanded a high-end, automotive-inspired aesthetic—a moody, "emerging from shadows" reveal—requiring advanced light-painting techniques and complex post-production compositing.
Core Responsibilities
Technical Strategy: Consulted with the client to architect a specialized photographic workflow capable of achieving a hyper-stylized automotive aesthetic for heavy machinery.
Precision Light-Painting: Executed a high-complexity "locked-camera" sequence, capturing and meticulously blending over 200 individual exposures to sculpt the machinery’s form with light.
Advanced Digital Compositing: Managed the end-to-end post-production pipeline, utilizing multi-plate compositing to create a seamless, high-drama final asset for the M1240’s primary launch imagery.
International Production & Logistics
Multi-Jurisdictional Field Production: Conducted a cross-border production tour across Canada and the United States, capturing the M1240 in active field environments to document exterior performance and interior cabin ergonomics.
Global Logistics Management: Orchestrated the international transport of specialized cinema and lighting equipment, including the procurement and management of a Customs Carnet for seamless cross-border transit between Canada and the USA.
Field Asset Development: Delivered a versatile library of high-resolution supporting assets, ranging from macro detail shots to wide operational captures in diverse agricultural climates.
